Fingers crossed that this boiler will be replaced this week. It's clearly not in working order at this point. This is the view into the utility room through a gaping hole in the wall leading into the rest of the basement; easy access? Actually someone kicked in the back door and stripped any copper pipes they could get at, disconnected the boiler, and probably considered dragging it out they way they came. The benefit of all the holes and missing pipes is that we had a clear view of all the work the house needed. As soon as we have heat in the house, the real work starts... Off to meet with the security system rep.
